Chips and other such spicy snacks seem ideal for a late night snack but these are also a no no. Not only can too many spices give you heartburn, but they will keep you buzzing. You will cleaning the kitchen or surfing the Internet instead of dozing off.3. Beans
Beans are a power house of nutrition, but they are also gassy and can give you a lot discomfort. Plus the trips to the loo can get a little embarrassing if you are with a partner. Save the beans for some other day time when they will have plenty of time to work through your system comfortably.4. Chocolate
Sure every one loves chocolate; who doesn't? Not only does chocolate contain lots of sugar, but caffeine also. It's a combination that's likely to keep you active and won't let you unwind properly.5. Cookies and Sweets
As with chocolates, cookies and other sweets are filled with, naturally, sweets. These high levels of sugar are going to keep you from sleeping and you will have a hard time putting your mind to rest. If you must have something sweet, try natural alternatives like fruits. They do have sugar in them but in a moderate quantity that won't give you too much unrest.6. Fast Food
Avoid fast food at all costs! If you are a burger lover, then trust me, this is not the right time to curb your urges by having one. Your stomach will have to do a lot of hard work in order to digest that burger since it's filled with grease, meat and mayo. Skip it for something lighter and less greasier and you will sleep a lot better.7. Fizzy Drinks and Soda
Fizzy drinks and soda are yet again loaded with lots and lots of sugar which is most likely to keep you up all night wishing you could sleep. Even non-cola sodas can contain a lot of caffeine, and they’re all loaded with sugary high fructose corn syrup. Stop your daily dose of drinks and soda before evening so you have a comfortable night ahead.8. French Fries
